Do you serve alcohol?
No — The Boat is BYOB. Bring whatever you'd like to drink and we'll take care of the rest: cups, ice, and mixers are all provided.
Can I bring my own snacks?
Absolutely. We also cater barbecue, and there's plenty of it.
Are kids allowed aboard?
Children ages 10 and up are welcome. Please know that the water around the dock is deep, and because The Boat stays docked and never gets underway, life jackets are not necessary and therefore not provided. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times. If you'd like to bring a child under 10, call or text Admiral Greggie at 615-300-5635 — exceptions are made case by case.
Is there a discount for kids?
Yes. Guests 17 and under get a discount code. Call or text Admiral Greggie at 615-300-5635 for the code before you check out.
Where do I board?
Vol Navy Docks, 500 Neyland Drive, Knoxville, TN 37915. Look for the nearly 100-foot houseboat in Tennessee Orange.
Where do I park, and where should a rideshare drop me?
There are plenty of gameday lots within a short walk of the Vol Navy docks. For rideshare, have your driver drop you at Calhoun's on the River on Neyland Drive — it's about a six-minute walk down the greenway to the docks.
Can I leave my things aboard during the game?
Yes. Leave your cooler and your bag with us and walk up light. One reminder: Neyland only allows clear plastic bags inside the stadium, so plan what you carry in accordingly.
Can I come back after the game? Can I just watch the game on The Boat?
Yes to both. Come back after the final whistle and keep the day going, or never leave at all — a lot of our guests stay aboard, watch on the TVs, and listen to the stadium roar from the water.
What's your refund policy?
Space is limited and reserved, so we don't offer refunds as a rule. If something comes up, you're welcome to send a refund request to Admiral Greggie at 615-300-5635 — he looks at extenuating circumstances case by case.
What happens if the kickoff time changes?
Boarding opens four hours before kickoff, so if the SEC moves your kickoff, boarding moves with it and your spot stays good. We'll be in touch with everyone who's booked.
What if the weather is bad?
The Boat stays docked and there's covered space up top, so we sailgate in the rain.
Can a friend stop by for a quick visit?
Every person aboard needs a reserved spot — space is limited and it fills up. If a friend wants to join you, have them call Admiral Greggie at 615-300-5635; if there's room, he can get them aboard.
